Pastor Appreciation Month

It is October! This is a month in the year that is generally observed to appreciate pastors, priests, and ministers of the gospel. It all started as the National Clergy Month in the United States and gradually becoming a global phenomenon. The month was initially called Clergy Appreciation National Day of Honor (quite a mouthful). Hallmark Cards added a spice to the month in 1992 by designating a day in the month called  Pastors Appreciation Day. This is usually the second Sunday in October.
